I saw God today, had a conversation with the devil In the midst of chaos, tryna find my level Feeling lost in this world full of sin Trying to navigate through the darkness within God spoke of love, forgiveness and grace While the devil whispered lies in my face Temptation pulling me in every direction Struggling to find my own reflection Caught between heaven and hell Trying to break free from this spell In a constant battle for my soul Trying to find my way back to whole God's light shining bright in the dark Guiding me through this treacherous park The devil's whispers growing faint As I find strength in my faith I saw God today, and he spoke to the devil Reminding me that I am not on this journey alone With faith as my shield and love as my sword I will find my way back to the Lord. I spoke to the devil today, he said he knows my name Told me I could have it all, fame and fortune, fortune and fame But I ain't selling my soul, no way, no how I'll stick to my own path, I'll make it somehow He tried to tempt me with power and greed But I ain't giving in, I won't concede I'll rise to the top with hard work and skill I'll prove to the world that I got the will I spoke to the devil today, he tried to bring me down Tried to fill my head with doubt, tried to make me frown But I ain't backing down, I'll stand my ground I'll keep pushing forward, I won't be bound I'll overcome any obstacle in my way I'll keep grinding and hustling every day I won't let the devil's words lead me astray I'll stay true to myself, I'll find my own way
