im grindin' every day tryna make it out the yard
but these teachers and these haters make oh so hard
tryna keep my head up stay focused on my goals but the pressure and this stress man it takes a toll

tryna learn tryna grow tryna elevate
but the systems against me tryna seal my fate
i refuse to be statistic another dropout
gotta make it through gotta scream gotta shout

school is hard but im harder i wont back down im the king of my own destiny wearin my crown
