Our hoods steady going down man our young people losing out all because they walked to the corner store this shit is played out it's like death be lurking around the way to those who never really deserved it my heart really be hurting for those who never got the chance all due to circumstance they never got to make it to they first dance or even to experience romance dying that day was never in they plans I light a candle for the ones gone but never forgotten it's not really they fault cause they grew up on the bottom our youth they dropping like autumn leaves if u just belive you can size anything spread your wings and soar through the sky who are they to ask you why nothing wrong with wanting to fly high and chase dreams anybody who ever had a vision they wanted to come to life kno what I mean
