fake smile

I wear my fake smile, hiding all the pain inside Trying to keep it together, but it's hard to hide I put on a show, pretending I'm alright But deep down I'm struggling, losing the fight I fake a laugh, act like everything's fine But behind closed doors, I'm falling apart inside I wear this mask, to shield the hurt But it's getting harder to keep up this front I fake it till I make it, that's what they say But sometimes it feels like I'm losing my way I smile for the world, but cry in the dark Hoping one day, I'll find peace in my heart So I'll keep wearing this fake smile, to hide the pain But deep down I know, it's all in vain I'll keep pretending, putting on a show But inside I'm broken, and that's all they'll never know.
