When was the last time you took it slowed down got this world spinning way too fast for us now got wars, got bombs, got guns, got haters leaving no time for recuperating seems like our demise is what we're awaiting but we gotta remember that we're worth saving, yeah all this uncertainty all the perversity that most certainly contributes to the absurdity of this life, modernity we're inadvertently condemning ourselves to hell for an eternity don't give up on the insurgency, yeah we're living an emergency Hook: can you slow down baby keep me in your daydream don't get taken in by the velocity what if we just take it slow i know this fast world is all that we know but we've gotta take a chance if we're willing to grow sometimes it takes time to build a high from a low just breathe sit still don't need another pill so much of our illness is a matter of will guilt drilled into our souls are you listening? don't lay down waiting to be killed can't rest in peace until we see what skills we have as a society needing to fulfil ourselves despite sobriety searching for meaning, god, yeah we try to be just slow down, rebuild that's how we'll get truly free
