Way before

Way before I was locked up in a sperm cell. Way before my father andI shared the name baba Way before Sunday school, before the story of Cain and Abel, before I had an Adam's apple. Way before I was a chip of the old block, Way before talk was cheap in my block. Way before Bruce Lee, before I knewl could bruise internally. Way before my first kiss, before I kissed a girl in the dark, on the nose. Way before Fila, before Reebok. Way before I had a phone, when I used to borrow my mom's phone, until the day I got a text that wasn't mine and read what I shouldnt have read. Way before Nice biscuits stopped being nice, when everyone knew Condoleezza Rice. Way before Chapatis were disrespected on Twitter by people who can make threads but can't sew. Way before Tobey Maguire was Spider-Man, before Tupac and Biggie, before Mary Atieno and Mary J Blige, Way before Kantai could tie a tie, before whoever she was, sold sea shells at the sea shore..
