The Bible describes God in Exodus 24:17 (NIV), “To the Israelites the glory of the LORD looked like a consuming fire on top of the mountain.” When you think and hear about the word “glory” or “the glory of God,” it means the abiding manifested presence of God. It's like God says, “When I show up, I show up with fire.
