Verse 1: I hear the guns fire, the streets are getting wild People dying every day, it's like we're living in denial The cops are on the hunt, but they don't know who to trust The gangs are on the rise, and they're ready to bust It's a warzone out here, and we're just trying to survive But it's hard to keep your head up when all you see is homicide We need to come together, put the guns down and unite Or we'll keep hearing the guns fire every single night Verse 2: I'm tired of the violence, I'm tired of the pain We need to break the cycle, and start a new campaign We need to educate our youth, show them there's a better way Teach them that violence only leads to an early grave We need to hold ourselves accountable, and take responsibility For the actions we take, and the lives we lead We need to change the narrative, and show the world we're more than just thugs Or we'll keep hearing the guns fire, and we'll never know love Verse 3: The guns fire, and the world keeps spinning People keep dying, and the cycle keeps beginning We need to break free, and rise above the hate We need to come together, before it's too late We need to be the change, and lead by example Show the world that we're more than just a simple sample We need to be the light, in a world full of darkness And put an end to the guns fire, before it tears us apart.
