Seen friends come watched them go all thru the while I’ve skated and walked miles in my shoes every story’s different yet I’m feeling like I got nothing to prove I remember being down on life lost my baby momma and my girl but I still kept pushing wasn’t easy but I’m making it can’t stop now not letting satan take it This life’s a challenge when you build a bridge don’t burn it it’s and accomplishment you earned it jah provided it so give thanks to the most high I remember walking down 101 cause I quit contracting to start hitch hiking no I wasn’t biking but we sure was thriving learning bout surviving Let jah hold you in his arms and he won’t let go this I know so the story goes it’s a little incredible what I been thru if you only knew I remember wearing flowers in my hair without a care walking on the Golden Gate Bridge into San Fran chilling in the Golden Gate Park sleeping there after dark sleeping bags in the packs living life on the edge eating condensed mushroom soup with buegette bread we was dirty hippies experiencing life no strife From curbs to mansions we marched blood pumping thru our hearts love life we was struggling though aha it’s not easy being cheesy but at least we weren’t greasy son best believe me Floating so they say got hooked up on the way we made it to Venice slept on the curb woke up in the am listening to the birds so what I got to say is follow your dreams and know there’s a soft pillow on the other side give thanks to rastafari
