I wish life wouldn't go this way When the things you love get ripped away Not being able to push replay When everything just seems to go astray I wish life would ease up a bit easier to forgive and to forget Inspire people when not to quit Hold on tight that one's legit I wish we could know what the future holds And truly know what's in one's soul Is she the one?  I need to know Hold on for dear life and don't let go I wish I could erase mistakes I've made Heartache I've caused the price I paid When it comes to true love it never fades I think about this every day I wish that I had better luck A better attitude than who gives a fuck Knowing you hurt someone special really sucks Maybe my life wouldn't be teetering on self destruct I wish I could go and turn back time Cuz you're like a star you always shine There's never a day you don't cross my mind I'd spend every waking moment to make you mine
