Let the trumpets play
we outside
i notice they got pride
got in our way
they divide and lie in our face and cry
in our face and they cry

guess what i daughter to feed
guess what we never going in need
so what she got some quick claim deeds
 but that evil spirit gone to make them bleed
 so repent again i hope you tell your sin
its time to redeem and get clean again
to save your soul every knee shall bow nomore control
let the trumpets play
we outside

Trap music developed during the period of the 90s to 2000s, typically in the south of the US. It is usually recognised by the beat involving hi-hats, bass drum and synthesisers. Lyrically, themes involve typical violence, club life, drug culture and street life.

Gangsta rap evolved from the mid-80s from hardcore rap, mainly defined by the lyrical content about gangsta lifestyle usually based on crime and violence.
