Sometimes I feel like life’s a pipe dream, like why do I have life in me, when people that were better no longer have that fight to breathe, sometimes my eyes are blind to see covered by these scars in me, to many times to count Somebodys died and ripped apart from me, I used to illuminate with light but now only see dark in me, used to love living my life but now I feel like I’m a heartless fein, I just can’t find that spark in me that fire that was burning, I don’t recognize myself I feel I lost all of my courage, regardless of recklessness my wheels just keep on turning, I can’t help but feel I’m trapped inside a sentence that I’m serving, but for sure I’m knowing one thing, that feeling only love can bring, gets stripped away so fast I felt my life hanging on one string,the drugs bring comfort for a second then it’s gone, and to recreate that comfort is impossible and wrong, man I knew it all along and tried to act like I was different, like I had my shit together and no body was suspicious, but that shit is superstitious and no longer live a lie, n I swear to god where I’m at right now was so hard to find, n I can try say I’m stronger but I still know that I’m weak, I miss my people so damn much in the ground that cannot speak, so I stop and think about what they’de tell me if I could, I remember you said follow my own footsteps n ide be good, and I know what I should do I know what evil men can do, so trust in me ain’t easy I’ll spend the rest my life defending you,
