I’m gonna tell you a story, that’ll come off as a movie script, But, I’ve been grinding for nearly two years, now, and you win, but you lose a ton of shit. You could say, I got used to it, But the truth is, it’s the mentality that gets you through the pool of shit, That you dive headfirst into. This is just the introduction, A lot of emcees, live off of overproduction. But, I started on the streets of dc, Where being a decent guy, was out of the norm. Swarmed with hostility, only people who were rocking wit me, were the posse. A place where there were no guarantees, only possibilties. I’m different, No simplicity when it came to me and thinking freely. So, I did the only natural to me, I started to rhyme about the shit, Write about the shit. That’s how my story got started. That’s what you call humble beginnings, Some people use that term, just steer away from the whole definition, That ain’t my business. I always had it rough, I talked real good, cuz I’m smart as fuck, So some fuckers got real violent, I didn’t have time for violins, or violence, I just called them out on they shit, and They would lose it. That’s how the shit be. In this industrial revolution, I’m stuck in the evolution of an emcee.
