A tear in a leaf, as seasons change and the trees die only to live again in the spring time. But why? I looked into your eyes, and asked the world for an answer. Lost inside these catacombs, still unsure of what I'm after. Stuck inside this silence, hear a pause from all the laughter. Doubt spreading deep inside my mind like a cancer. What's a plan really, I write down these lines then tear the page because I feel silly. See the growth but don't believe it really, tell myself I'm fine but how am I feeling really? Hit the road, I'll burn it down and pray these thoughts don't kill me. Endorphins in a bottle, pour me up that liquid courage. I'm a make it if it kills me then I'll say I earned it.
