Donnie pulled up body covered in black, He didn’t have a plan But had a gat and a mask, Tryna find a quick way To come up with some cash, Toss the piece in the river And clothes in the trash. He walked into the bank He said hands in the air, Put the money in the bag Or I’m killin you dear, Guard tried playing hero Donnie showing no fear, Took a shot at the guard And watched him slump in the chair. He dipped out the back And hopped in the truck, Jumped on the highway He was doing a buck, Weaving in and out of traffic He was pushin his luck, Till he was tossed from the whip From the tree that he struck. He could hear 12 coming He saw the lights in the distance, Shot at the first cruiser with his 9 But he missed it, Cut through a back yard Like a man on a mission, Thinking if only the guard At the bank would’ve listened. Surrounded by the fuzz He knew he made a mistake, He thought of his wife And her smiling face, He reached for the gun That he had in his waist, Saw a flash and woke up Back in front of the bank.
