it's because i loved you that I saw the good in you when I saw thats how it was gonna be I realized this wasnt for me I moved on and forgot about it now here comes you tryna reminisce about it all I ever got was that pain and here it goes round 2 when I'm with you it always felt like I was playing a game when it was time to move forward I found myself stepping back wondering how I'm gonna get my life on track I was in live with the idea of you and that idea I loved never wanted to lose you stayed in my mind now I have to accept the fact that you won't be mine I was ok with that I was just hoping our friendship would stay intact now I'm left wondering if it would ever go back the idea of you was ok with me never one day passed where the thought of you slipped away Now I never get to see you left wondering how he treating you I know your too good for that bullshit don't wanna wake up and hear that he hit you it was the idea of you that made me stay but it was your actions and your thoughts that pushed me away now I never get to see the future we could've made.
