26 and found my passion at 12. 14 years in and got nothing to show for it but torn out pages of composition after composition that I’ve kept so close they’re embedded into my head forever. I write because I feel a connection to music more than anything in my life, whenever I feel discouraged I remember I’ve tried every scenario in my imagination believe me this obsession will chase me.
