Yo, have I changed a lot? They say everything changes as you live. They say it's a place where you can't trust anyone, Be careful, they say. What do I see in you to trust you? Even friends who used to talk about loyalty, our paths split. They say never be too naive. I hear several demands at the same time. That guy's words I can't trust, and the unknowable heart of an old friend. Maybe I'm the dirtiest one for spending time on this thought. Everyone competes and compares, weighing who's above. The news says it's not a beautiful thing, But we've all seen it's not something that changes quickly. We learn the skill of staying beside it like it's not our business. If I only feel sad, I'm a fool. Even the life of my good friend, Whose being good has become a habit, I can't take care of. We understand each other. The drunkard who used to only get excited has changed. Life goes on It would've been better back then. That's a line that's useless for anything. You spent your teenage years, and now You say you miss the military that made you suffer? You're the one who wanted to get out of there fast. When you sat at your desk from 7 to 10, You only wished for the time to pass. This doesn't seem to be Only a story about back then for you. Let's not drink ourselves to death. Look at it, everything goes back and forth. Is it my own inadequacy or is it unfairness? It's worth thinking about over a long stretch of time, But they don't let me have that time. It's all work, work. I get up, shaking my ass, just to get to the good part for now. Imagining the place that'll take more than half a day to reach, I endure the painful flight. I hope the weather is good too. Not too cold, not too hot, just right. Sit anywhere and smoke a cigarette. I know it's bad for my body, of course. I'm addicted, but pretending I'm not, Really, I'm just buying some time to space out. Give me five quiet minutes. Two thoughts at once, comforting me.
