STATIC IN MY HEAD (Version 2)
2. STATIC IN MY HEAD Intro Static, static, crawling through the wire, Every thought is gasoline, every nerve is fire. Can't distinguish prophecy from fevered desire, My own reflection looks like a liar. Verse 1 Mania got me moving at a hundred miles, Three nights awake with a thousand wild files. Talking to the moon like it understands my trials, Building castles out of hallucinated tiles. Thoughts collide, then multiply, then race, Every second feels like I'm losing my place. Mirror shows a stranger with a vacant face, Reality bends when the pressure increases pace. Hook Static in my head, thunder in my brain, Every little signal feels like acid rain. Running from a thought that keeps repeating my name, Ward lights burning while I wrestle with the pain. Verse 2 They write observations while I stare at the wall, "Acute episode" printed neatly in the chart. I hear every heartbeat like a warning alarm, Trying not to drown underneath the mental storm. Then the noise gets quieter, slowly losing speed, For the first time in days I can finally breathe. Recovery ain't weakness, it ain't defeat, Sometimes surviving means accepting you need peace. Outro Static fades slowly, silence takes its place, Morning hits softly across my face. Still got scars that time can't erase, But I'm learning that healing doesn't happen in haste.
