Maybe Maybe Shadows creeping, heartbeats echo in the night, Whispers in the alley, secrets hidden outta sight, Maybe it’s the darkness that’s igniting all this fright, Or maybe it’s the choices that I’m making, wrong or right. Mind racing, visions hazy, can’t escape the grind, Searching for salvation, but the devil’s got a bind, Maybe I’m a prisoner of the thoughts that I unwind, Or maybe it’s the fate that’s always lurking behind. Cigarette smoke swirling, painting pictures in the gloom, Trying to break the cycle, but I’m trapped inside this room, Maybe I’ll find peace, or maybe I’ll meet my doom, Caught between the shadows, where the echoes always loom. Life’s a twisted riddle, can’t decipher every clue, Maybe I’ll rise up, or maybe I’ll just break through, In this dark abyss, where the light is overdue, Searching for a way out, but the maze is nothing new.
