Poetic Love

​Verse 1 ​Writing with a pen because the feeling is spiritual, Stuck on a girl, she standard-issue a miracle. I'm a poet, so I gotta write my love in a song, When she is near, nothing can go wrong. This is poetic love, everything is a rhyme and a track, Her mahogany eyes shine bright like a flash. ​Verse 2 ​She walks in the room and the static just clears, A masterpiece painting, no doubts and no fears. I used to chase shadows, was lost in the dark, But she struck a match and it turned to a spark. Now the ink on the paper is blending with grace, No matter the distance, I can't leave her space. ​ ​Verse 3 ​They talk about fashion, they talk about style, But none of it matches the grace of her smile. Designer intentions can't mimic her soul, She took all my pieces and made the man whole.
