we were just kids then. but I seen something special in you. your laugh your smile. that's all I knew for a while. I'm not sure what really happened. I just know it didn't work out so I moved away. I couldn't stand to see you with someone else holding you nor would I want to see you smile at someone else the way you smiled at me. I knew only you. but you had other things you wanted to do. so I bowed my head and went away. never have I completely escaped my feelings for you. always I wanted you to be happy. if that's not love I don't know what is.. visions of someday seeing you again. tormented I have been not knowing if you're okay. I've heard stories that it wasn't going so well for you. I pray. always here for you I have been your friend. so many years have went by. many times I have cried. earning inside to let you know that I'm okay. hoping that you are the same. always a place in my heart you will have. always a flame will burn inside of me for you.
