Personal Shivling
I attended Vishnu temple on Monday in Edmonton. I did my regular Monday prayer at home before going to the Vishnu temple. Which was pouring water on the Shivling and putting ash on. There was a four day prayer held at the Vishnu temple. Over the Easter weekend. Monday night was last. The past three nights before Monday night after pouring water on the Shivling at the Vishnu temple I put ash on. The final Monday night I forgot. The Shivling at the Vishnu temple had just gone through a massive prayer ritual beforehand. Which made the Shivling at the Vishnu temple for the night intensely more spiritual. When I came back to my seat I felt bad. How can I forget? My auditory hallucinations reminded me of my regular Monday prayer that I did at home before going to the Vishnu temple. In seconds my mood changed back. I thought to myself I have put ash onto my personal Shivling at home beforehand. I felt good about myself. Which is the symbol of spirituality. My personal Shivling at home and the Shivling at the Vishnu temple became the same in spiritual energy. From now on by praying every Monday to my personal Shivling at home I’m willing to live that spiritual experience. “Om Namah Parvati Pati, Har Har Mahadev”.
