you stairijg at the wall/ where a picture hangs a quit kind of hurt/ more then physical pain sitting there alone/ hearing the floor icreak wanting a reply/ but im pride wont let me speak. took your forever/ turned to use to be now I'm trapped/ in your memory the truth is/im the one in tha dark cant buold a fire/ once you smothered the the sparks you checking your phone/ waiting for vibrations a lyou hear is static/ and your frustrations chasing my shadow/running from the light left you standing in the kitchen/ 8n the middle of the night i can see it in my mind/ guessing what your doing pacing on the hardwood/looking at yhe ruin checking every window/ checking wvery lock but you cant stop the ticking/ of the clock aaw the question in your stair/i didjt want to asnwer5 moving like a ghost/ i was spreading like cancer you in the threshold/ shaking at the knee didnt say a word/ i just grabbed my keys it wasnt you/ baby im it was me after all this/ your gonna need therapy said alot of stuff/ just outta anger a ship tossed at sea/ you are my anchor
