 Dope in my cup (17:08)

I never wanted spotlights, I wanted clear vision, From cracked sidewalks, learned the art of persistence. Streets taught me balance, not hype or addiction, Seen fame turn friends into forced competition. I move with intention, not thirst or opinions, No posts for attention, no loud repetitions. I watched people change just to fit an algorithm, I stayed rooted in truth, that was always my system. I came from environments pressure-built character, Where silence was language and work was the calendar. No time for theatrics, no beef for the cameras, I handle my business, then handle my standards. I done fell back to refocus my stamina, Left all the distractions that tampered my manners, Came back to the grind with my heart recalibrated, Work in my spirit, my soul activated. Love kept me stable when life got aggressive, When nights felt endless and days felt depressive. I learned real wealth ain’t chains or perception, It’s peace in your mind and your people protected. I don’t argue online, I let silence respond, Let time do the talking, let effort be strong. I ain’t chasing applause, I ain’t flexing a pose, I’m building foundations that never erode. I seen clout turn loyalty thin as a thread, Egos inflated while families bled. I chose consistency, clocking in tired, Hands still dirty, but my goals stay wired. Back to work, no shortcuts, no scenic route, I earn every inch, I don’t need no proof. Back to love, that’s the anchor I trust, When the world try to break me, it hold me intact. I move low frequency, grounded and patient, Not loud with ambition, just firm with my placement. If they never know me, I’m fine with the outcome, I’d rather be solid than famous and outcome-drunk.Title: “Ash & Oath” I spit psalms with a serrated edge, Tongue like Sinai thunder, every word leaves men on the ledge. I was carved from the soil where the serpents still hiss, Adam’s ribs in my cadence, Eden’s ache in my wrist. I don’t rap for applause, I prophesy fractures, Break idols with syntax, turn verses to hammers. My mind is a battlefield, angels draft war plans, Demons audit my thoughts like hostile programs. I walk with a limp, Jacob posture, Blessed but bruised by a God I couldn’t posture. Faith ain’t passive, it’s grappling in the dark, Name carved in my thigh by a heavenly mark. I been baptized in fire, not hype nor lights, Burnt offering bars, every verse is a knife. Circumcise syllables, cut flesh from the sound, Let the Spirit divide what the ego surrounds. I seen crowns turn skulls hollow, kings vomit their power, Nebuchadnezzar thoughts grazing grass for an hour. I don’t trust charisma, I test every spirit, Gold tongues quote Scripture just to poison the hearing. Wolves learned Greek, Hebrew, cadence immaculate, Still dead vines cosplaying fruit in the aggregate. I keep my heart in a tomb till the stone get moved, Resurrection talk reckless, but death gotta bruise. You want glory without Golgotha’s cost, I count it all loss just to stand where You walked. My flesh want a throne, cross say “sit down,” Nails preach louder than any TikTok sound. I write in sackcloth ink, ash-stained breath, Every bar memento mori, covenant with death. The tongue is a blade, I don’t swing it for sport, One verse can flood cities, ask Noah’s report. I fear God, not hellfire or man’s opinion, The beginning of wisdom is holy attrition. I don’t love God for blessings or favorable odds, I love Him stripped naked, still calling Him God. Job ash theology, no quid pro quo, Though He slay me, I trust Him—let the record show. My prayers don’t rhyme clean, they bleed on the page, Like prophets getting sawn for offending the age. I ain’t here to be safe, marketable, tame, I’m a watchman screaming while the city want rain. I love enemies armed with forgiveness rounds, That’s guerrilla warfare in spiritual grounds. Turn cheeks into mirrors, let oppressors see, The image they assault is divinity. If I fall, let it be forward, face to the dirt, Mouth full of mercy, hands reaching the hurt. I die daily, no metaphor flex, I put my flesh on the altar, strike the match with the text. When my voice go silent and my bones learn the dust, Let my life read Scripture: feared God, loved much.
