since I was five
I have been rapping since I was five, I remember when my King was crucified, But He rose up, now He’s forever alive, Gave me purpose, now I’m walking in a holy stride. I was lost in the dark, but He opened my eyes, Pulled me out the storm, now I’m touching the skies. Every lyric that I write is like a praise I provide, ‘Cause His love is the reason that I even survive. A child of the Kingdom, yeah, I’m standing in truth, He’s the light in my path, from the days of my youth. Now I step in the booth and I’m raising the roof, Spitting scripture in my rhythm, every word is the proof. So I carry my cross, never leaving His side, Got the Word in my heart, let the Spirit be my guide. This is more than a rap, it’s a battle cry, Till the day that He calls me to the kingdom on high.
