Life is hard out here catching a charge Hope I make it but im scared of the stars It’s a risk not being behind bars But I’ll take it loving how they are Feeling like I’m living along ways from mars Stuck in the basement loose strings on the guitar I’m just trying to play a piece of my heart To get a higher placement cant catch a charge Life is hard, But I’ll make it, doing what i can get out the basement. I can’t wait a long time I’m anxious, I’ve just gotta get off of the pavement So i pray they hear me all across The nation, Life is hard.
