You Can’t Play God

Today I finished rewatching the English movie “Solace.” About mercy killing. Long time ago I watched the Hindi movie based on euthanasia. In India. “Guzaarish.” In the English movie “Solace” which was released in 2015. Was about two psychic. Somehow I believed the other psychic who was also portrayed as the serial killer didn’t even exist. Because I remembered the movie’s ending. The psychic doctor killed his own daughter because he couldn’t bear seeing her in that much pain. The mercy killing serial killer was picking victims that were ill. Living with incurable disease. Of course painless. Just shows how psychic knows our life is predetermined. The English movie “Solace” had a lot of quotes I liked the one “you can’t play God.” The Hindi movie “Guzaarish” on the other hand is about a magician. That went through a horrific accident. Paralyzed neck down. Has a lawyer, a maid and a student. To learn magic before his teacher wins. Though the court rules out his petition. The maid becomes his wife. The lawyer friend gives him some advice. The Hindi movie “Guzaarish” doesn’t show though what I remember from 2010 the wife took his life. Because she couldn’t see him suffer. Both of the movies mention above English and Hindi show us there is nothing wrong with euthanasia. Again “you can’t play God.” Remember!
