BURNT CD SKIT
BURNT CD SKIT (A fake “scratched CD” interlude with glitchy cuts and random conversation snippets) [Scene opens with a CD loading sound, followed by a lo-fi punk song playing. Suddenly, it starts skipping and glitching.] [Glitch effect: music loops awkwardly] ”—can’t—can’t—can’t—” ”—find the li—find the li—find the—” (Loud static burst, then silence.) [Random conversation snippets cut in and out, like a broken CD trying to play different parts of a recording.] Voice 1 (muffled, distorted): “Dude, I swear it wasn’t scratched when I burned it.” Voice 2 (laughing, distant): “Bro, you used one of those cheap blank CDs from the gas station.” [Glitch—music comes back for a second, then stutters again.] ”—the underground cry—underground cry—undergrou—” Voice 3 (angry, overlapping layers of static): “Wait, wait—shh—did you hear that? Who’s on this recording?” [CD scratch noise, then sudden rewind effect.] Voice 4 (robotic, eerie): “Transmission lost… please stand by… please stand by…” [Silence. Then a final loud burst of distorted guitar and static before it abruptly cuts off.] [End of skit.]
