Raw em out (16:37)

#7pacmenipsey (Verse 1) I was born in the trenches where the shadows creep, Streets whisper secrets that the strong don't keep, Had a destiny written, but it’s bittersweet, A heart full of hunger, but no food to eat. I was taught to be ruthless, never show no fear, Survival's the language, but death's always near, Friends turn to ghosts, got 'em disappear, I’m stuck in the cycle, tryna make it clear. Raised by the concrete, fed by the pain, In a world where the sunshine is washed by the rain, Had to walk with my head down, try to maintain, But the streets carve scars deeper than the blood in my veins. Every move calculated, dodgin' that cage, Writers in the system just fillin’ up the page, Life’s a chess game, but I’m stuck in the maze, Tryna find an exit, but I’m trapped in the phase. The cold nights taught me that trust’s a lie, And loyalty’s a weapon that you can't buy, Got my hands in the dirt, still reach for the sky, But the prison's in my mind, and it’s built too high. (Verse 2) Tried to be a king, but the throne was fake, Built on broken promises, too much at stake, Every corner I turned, the devil would wake, Had me walkin' with fire, every step was a quake. Used to move like the wind, silent in flight, Now I’m locked in a cell, fightin' for my life, Every chain that’s clankin’ just cuts like a knife, But I never bowed down, I ain’t goin’ out like no strife. Had the world in my palm, but it slipped through my hands, A king without a crown, just lost in the sands, Now I’m tryna understand where I lost the plans, Was it the hunger for power or the devil’s commands? The nights get colder, and the walls close in, I reflect on the choices that were made in sin, The streets I ran with, the places I’ve been, Now I’m fightin’ these demons that I can’t even win. I thought I was solid, like I couldn’t be shook, But the system’s a prison and the rules never took, They painted me guilty, didn’t check the book, Now I’m stuck in this cell, can’t even get a look. (Verse 3) I ain't no martyr, just a man with a vision, Caught in the web of a world that’s been twisted with precision, I learned the hard way that the system’s a prison, And the ones at the top keep makin’ decisions. Got a story to tell, but they want me to hush, Every thought that I think gets crushed in the rush, Got my head on a swivel, feel the gears in the crush, But the price for survival leaves you out of touch. I was bred for the struggle, molded by the grind, Had to wrestle with the demons that were buried in my mind, But the deeper I dug, the more I'd find, And the chains that bound me were the ones I designed. Every second behind these bars is a war with myself, But I’ve learned to fight battles that nobody could tell, See, I built my empire on a foundation of hell, And I’m locked in the cell, but my spirit won’t sell. I’ll never be the same, they took my soul, But they’ll never take the fire that’s burned through my soul, No matter the cage, no matter the toll, I’ll rise from the ashes, take back control. (Verse 4) I hear the whispers of the streets in my dreams, Voices of the lost, the forgotten, it seems, A lifetime of scars, a trail of broken beams, But I still chase a future that ain’t bound by schemes. The world tried to bury me, thought they had me beat, But you can't kill the spirit that refuses defeat, The cycle’s too vicious, but I’m feelin' the heat, I’m prepared for the battle, ready for the street. I remember the days I ran with a grin, Thought I was invincible, thought I’d always win, But now I’m confined, where the light's grown thin, I reflect on the losses, the places I’ve been. The law don’t care ‘bout the reasons we fight, They just lock you up, throw away the light, But a man’s mind is his power, a soul’s in flight, And no cage can cage what’s born in the night. I made mistakes, but I’m not who I was, The streets leave marks, but they don’t define cause, I’m a warrior, not just a product of the flaws, I’ll rise from these ashes, no matter the laws. So I'll stand in this cell, with a heart full of rage, The past is a book, but I’m turnin’ the page, I may be in prison, but I’m free from the cage, And I’ll break these chains, no matter the stage.
