Thought we were tight, but loyalty’s a ghost, Every Thanksgiving, I’m just a host, They feast on my kindness, drain every drop, When I’m down in the gutter, they don’t even stop. I gave ‘em my heart, they turned it to stone, Truth in their eyes, but lies on the phone, Counted on ‘em, but they played like a game, Now I’m cutting the ties, they ain’t worth the pain.
