Love is gone, yeah it's faded away Left me feeling empty, like a cloud on a rainy day Thought we had something real, but I guess I was wrong Now all that's left is the memories of a love that's gone I used to wake up with a smile on my face Now I'm laying in bed, feeling so out of place I gave you my all, but you threw it all away Now I'm left picking up the pieces, trying to find my way I thought we were soulmates, meant to be together But now I see that love is just a fleeting endeavor You walked out the door, left me standing in the rain Now all I can do is try to ease this pain Love is gone, but I'll survive I'll pick myself up and learn to thrive I'll find someone new, who will treat me right And I'll look back on this love that's gone, knowing I'll be alright.
