i know that im blessed of the best of any protest. and i know i passed the test we dont need none of that left. we dont need to be about a contest in the mess of life. always outta sight on the fight in everyday life. movin through it quick gotta hit a lick here and there just to make a couple of stacks. i dont wanna get all thrown outta whack on the pitiful excuse that we use all the time on why shits not goin right. i wanna get outta my head and out in my life making somethin of myself you know what i mean. but all i do is sit around shootin the shit. i be feelin like what i got to lose, what i got to do except to chill with my homies and mabey smoke alil bud and down a couple fortys. im headed up the highway, gotta get it my way. true way. aint no other way to do it but my way. im goin up the highway. waiting for my payday. wishin for some better days. im goin down the highway. jus waitin on the better days. im goin down the highway. yeah.
