Wind God

On Diwali I was outside at the front smoking. My mom set up our family prayer place with marigold flower in front of every deities. After I was done smoking I told my friend on the phone I have to go he said come by for a grog sitting. When I got inside my mom was coming downstairs to get something. My dad was at the back sundeck smoking. I slowly walked up the stairs towards my prayer place and right when I bowed down a marigold flower dropped down from the Hindu religious scripture the Ramcharitmanas which I witnessed. Inside our prasad plate sitting at the bottom. My mom and my dad came joined me to start. Without me saying a word my mom offered the marigold flower to Goddess Lakshmi first. I believe till this day that Pavan Devta(wind God) blew the marigold flower on Diwali for me. Because the marigold flower dropped down before I could bow down properly. When the front door opens only in seconds the wind can reach my bedroom but that day the wind was behind me. Later I heard a preaching from Shri Rajan Ji Maharaj saying that when a flower drops down for a person without asking that person is Godly. So my mom, dad and me.
