Scene

Once I moved to another city to work. It was a construction job and I switched partners he was a jerk. Though he helped me out a couple of times he would get rude sometimes. One day he gave me a job to do and went somewhere. I waited for him to come back. To tell him I can’t work with him. When he didn’t show up I called him on his cell phone and talked straight up. He said let’s get this job done but I didn’t care. The job site was near where I lived. I decided to walk and my friend and his coworker showed up with their company vehicle picked me up from the street. He called my friend and started talking smack. Called me a muthafucker plenty of times but I stayed quiet in the back seat of the truck. We went to my friend’s job site and my voices arose. On the phone he said he’s gonna beat me up and I picked up a hammer from my friend’s company vehicle and hid it inside my clothes. When I went to the office where I lived all my coworkers would come sit and drink kava. I was chilling with some of the boys and having a cigarette at the front when he showed up. He kept his head down as I stared him down. I went inside and before going upstairs to my room I seen him once more inside and stared him down. I went upstairs and held the hammer to smash his face while my voices asked me which side I wanted to use. I just wanted the word ”muthafucker” out of him so he never misuse. When our boss asked him what happened at the job site. He said come downstairs I’ll break your face. I put the hammer down and went to sleep. What I reminisce today is that just for the word muthafucker that day could have been a crime scene.
