waiting through the pavement not feeling the same but complete resistance while I dance on pain this isn't a joke it's not a hypothetical move your hypodermic so I don't get poked as a walk by I don't mind I've been in the gutter I like to surrounding it feels like home shadows often protect me when a dark alley comes it's safer than a street light remember what they can't see they fear still waiting through the pavement 12 ft below the sidewalk I might be walking under you beside you or above you I might not look that big I might not look that strange but don't look at my eyelids you don't want to see the pain all this came from living I do it all again but next time I'd be hard for my much younger age to stop all this rage and this broken down psyche I'd rather smile blindly but that's a damn lie I can't play ostrich I bleed out and die so you got to make your choice are you going to put your heart up or you going to put your hand out are you going to put your heart up or are you going to put your hands out shaky hands are deceiving shaky hands are dangerous shaky hands need to be braced watch out for your neck and your face
