DTrippy birth named Deontae Taylor was born and raised in Toledo, OH. He started honing his rap skills at the tender age of 12 yrs old. DTrippy at the age of 13, started to record himself at his home using different programs he came across in google searches. In 2017 he released his first mixtape "Stonerville: The Mixtape" which was a big hit in his hometown. He then preceeded to drop a list of various singles including "Astronaut" in where he teams up with fellow Trippy Gang member Sincere which was released in 2018.
