**Confession time!** I'm Annah, TJ's wife. TJ unexpectedly passed away on 3/6/23 in our home due to a drug overdose after being clean for 2 years. His decision to use one more time not only took his life but also affected mine, his family, and his friends who loved him dearly.
TJ's passion was music. He was a fan of Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Jelly Roll, DMX, Tupac, and Nipsey Hussle, but Eminem was his hero. I find it ironic that Eminem released the song "My Overdose" in 2023, the same year TJ died.
I have all these videos of TJ, and I refuse to let them sit unheard. His bars are unique and straight from the soul, and they need to be shared. If his lyrics can help anyone understand the cunning, baffling, and powerful nature of addiction, and maybe save a life, then TJ's death will not have been in vain.
