Just on here for shites & giggles. See if I can get good enough to win a rap battle against Eminem &/or Snoop. 😂 Haha I joke of course. I do write, but not all is appropriate and could possibly be triggering for ex. . umm. . . substance users. . I guess. . But even though I'm quick to learn lyrics from songs and do write my own. . I usually only perform in my lounge room while doing the house work or pretty much everytime I drive (lately it's mainly to try to embarrass the SHIT out of my 16 y/o son and teach him not to be soooo ummm. . . Shy. . or to worry about what strangers think of their whiter than white, Australian mum - full on bouncing "gangster rap" style to WHATEVER song comes on my playlist. I'm a lover of most music gospel and country being the exceptions. . So yeah, not a very good performer - as you can tell if you listened to what this funny, cute, awesome app got me to record myself "rapping" and then it posted it, and now I don't know how to change it or take it down. But oh well. We only live once. My first introduction to rap was in 1998/9 (I think) I was 11ish & before we moved from a country town to a "big city" my neighbour burnt me Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle album to listen to on my discman for the drive and I fell in love with it. "Lodi Dodi" is still one of my all time favourite songs. Then when I got my first car at 16ish my mate introduced me to Aussie hip-hop with a group called 'Butterfingers' who are locals from the city my family moved to. They are pretty great. Their songs 'Everytime' & 'FIGJAM' were (and still very much are) my life anthems. . . I really love Australian hip-hop and try to keep up to date with new talent. If you take anything away from reading my bio and having a good giggle at me effing around in my little "single" the app posted.
