3 hours sleep and i open my eyes Brain won't wake up That's no surprise I lay there unable to move I need to get up but my mind will dissaprove Seems like no matter what I do I can't improve With a hard push I sit up head in my hands I got so much to do Do nothing is what the darkness demands I wish I wasn't like this someone out there understands Everyday I'm watching trauma on loop I'm fighting to turn it off But I waste so much energy I'm stuck in this coop Mentally drained I'm so pained Feeling like nothings been gained I don't want to hold myself back anymore It's not me it's my mentality I can't really understand it, I don't really know for sure I can feel myself losing sanity Not feeling the slightest secure All I know is the love around me now is meant to be pure Didn't know what that was before Grew up confused After leaving a life of being abused Hung around people who were similar who made me feel used Trust went out the window with everyone Felt unhappy with life, pretended to have fun Seriously if I had one next to me I'd probably would of used a gun I didn't see clearly, even the real love that was near me It could of been right under my nose But that's how I'd be Now I isolated myself for a while I see those who are real And now I can show a real smile Took out what was bad took out what made me mad But I still have memories of the life I had But trying to create new ones So I don't have to live a life that's sad After all I see little clearer Whilst I'm holding the ones I love nearer Less of a life of fear Wake up but my body dont Get up Eyes open but the curtains wont Get up Minds working, bad thoughts swirling Get up The positivitys in me, but I'm still searching Get up Today's a bad day, but I will stop hurting Wake up but my body dont Get up Eyes open but the curtains wont Get up Minds working, bad thoughts swirling Get up The positivitys in me, but I'm still searching Get up Today's a bad day, but I will stop hurting
