it's just another day, I wake, and gotta contemplate, on another way, to get paid, I need money but its hard to get a job when your felon, then they wonder we resort to rob, and dope sellin', this life ain't a game to play, I live in the real world, got do better for my baby boy and my lil girl, but its hard when so much hate, surrounds me, and my surroundings, never change, straight out the gate, and its back to the same thing, sometimes, I sit back, and daydream, of a better life, I wish I could bring back the past, and do shit different, cuz maybe then I, wouldn't be In this predicament, I'm tired, and sick of it, don't push me cuz I'm close to the edge, fuck around and catch a hot one through your head, that's what I said, and for those that think I'm jokin, don't go provoking, the beast in me, the beast from the dub, E S T, side, we the best, and yes, that's where we ride, another day, I wake, and contemplate, on another way, to get paid, at the same time, duck a case, I need money but can't get a job cuz I'm a felon, then they wonder why we resort to robbing and dope selling, if I get caught, there's no telling, cuz on my block, I was taught, to not, say a word to the cops, I follow the code of the streets, never heard, never knew, never seen, on every street, you got, a dealer, a killer, and a dope fiend, and the cops, always trying to put our money making to a stop, to be on top is every ghetto kids American dream, but its hard when your minority, they look at us, like were dumb, and don't know a thing, even our president against us, fuck a Donald trump, he better keep his mouth shut, before someone, knocks, that mop off, I was brought up, and taught to, be a rider, all i want to be is a provider, for my kids, but the life I lived, I didn't give, my all, I got potential, to the kids, stay in school, fuck street credentials, get an education, become a doc, a lawyer or whatever you choose to, you can make it, don't let anybody tell you different and be aware of those out to take it, theyd rather see you begging, then lending, when you get paper, save it, watch your spending, so that your kids can have a good life, if we all did this, maybe then, we can make it, out the gutter, until then, to them well always be just another, dumb Mexican,
