The Lay-off
I remember when I got layoff, No longer managing the place, It felt like I fell from grace, Damn I really miss the pay rate, But I got to grind, Keep two jobs, Three some three times, I swear I don’t have time be in mind, I just keep pushing, I got moving, Ignore the pain, But I notice the gains, Trying to not swerve out my lane, From opportunity at fame, Cause I here the top lonely, I already feel only family know me, I feel like everyone else nosey, They need to mind there business, Let me focus on my fitness, I don’t need no eye witness, I’m trying break records in Guinness, World renown, Money sooth my old bones, Makes me feel grown, I’m paying bills on own, No hands handouts, So get away from me with your hand out, I pull myself by my boot straps, In spare time go rap, I go outside and do laps Wondering what I am running from, Wondering when the race will be done, Wondering the next time I’m going to have fun, Knowing that when it rains eventually I’ll see sun, I work, work, work, Until that shit hurt, Go hard in the bed, Eat it until she squirts, I have no off switch, I never burn out, I keeping shooting if I miss, Knowing it will work out, Go one hundred, I keep coming, Motivated by money, Turns me into a zombie, But I live for Friday, Yeah that’s pay day, I’ve had many jobs in my heyday, But I’m winning the war, No need to say mayday, Okay, Everyday, I fight life and slay, I don’t care what you say, I wasn’t listening in way, Like putting blinders on a horse, I run ahead with no remorse, I stay on my course, And put faith in the Lord of course.
