I’m back on that poetic shit, Using words so eloquent, Child of God, My thought are heaven sent, You can’t tell me shit, Pardon my French, Potty mouth, I’m leaving a stench, Family from the south, Moved to the D off the strength, Sit back and let me reminisce, About hot summers, Hooping, It was a bummer, When it was raining, On my razor I was scooting, Now and later at gas station scooping, Playing ball with neighbor hood, When we’re kids we all good, A few of us misunderstood, Black top dreaming of hardwood, We all wanted to go to league, Shocking none of would succeed, None of want to be doctors, Cause that not what the media feeds, Just play ball spit bars, And do what you please, We ain’t set up for this, The American dream, We weren’t included in this, What does this me mean, We need to rewrite the shit, Invest in our own shit, Start our companies and shit, Educate our own youth and shit, Demand like Nike that we gon do the shit, And that’s just s start, We will invest the arts, Get our benjis up like Walmart, Now the time to create equity, To lead our community tranquility, To create a new Africa this century, To release unarmed black men from anxiety, To teach America it is ok to have variety, We are not threatening, So please stop blood letting, Leave us alone like Brittany, So that we can embrace that soul Whitney, #blm #tenaciouse #bmheat #bmgrind #bmfeature #dreams #xnationmusic
