The day I turned old

Back then.. when?  Oh man, lemme see now it's been.. that was 04 ..  So that makes Six, then add Ten..  Shit, nevermind how long it's been. Back to my point, what I'm trying to say, I used to slang, a bit back in the day just some weed, no not that yay.   I could never get that shit to play,  well no that's wrong actual-lay, that shit played itself all damn day, I mean sold itself... wait.. hey! I see what you're doing Getting me off track,  But you're not fooling.. Anyone..  Anything..  Anywhere. Uh, Now where was I? Oh yeah,  Back then I knew this guy,  Ok fine, he was my friend,  And he was also my hook, This day he pulled up,  and my whole house shook, Pausing halo 2 I jumped up to look And saw him whomping im my driveway, With his nose in a book? Running outside with my hands raised up, As loud as I could I yelled what the fuck!?  This was no good, I was starting to trip, last thing I needed was a neighbor to flip. This scene was out of character. Having someone drop by. If you knew me back then, you wouldn't ask why You'd know I'm a "not trying to bring attention to me" guy.   Under the radar, is where I always fly, And I could instantly tell I was getting way too high. Hey mother fucker turn down that bass! He reached out to the volume on the stereo face, Don't need attention directed at my place.  you are about walk in with that big ass case.  Fuck you and fuck your neighbors.  You all sound like a bunch of haters.  Wearing his shit eating grin, his fingers began to tap,.  Guess who dropped a new album? uh..i said falling flat C'mon man, it's Project Pat! Project.. Pat? I repeated back..Slowly.. making sure I caught all that.  Hell yeah Project Pat, project Pat is where it's at!  He was ok I guess.. honestly, sounded like a mess. And that's when I must confess, as I listened I didn't understand the rest.  Am I old? Wondering if this would happen more?.  At the ripe old age of 24?
