Why is it so hard To express what's on my mind feelings are pretty hard to quantify Mabye I have trouble cuz I'm picky But with 26 letters to pick from Why not put the right ones together A little verbal masterpiece. For me to hang on my wall Got to find the right word To fill in the cadence of rhyme To make it all fall into line Trying not to overthink it Just go with the flow and itll come out just fine I'll play it back, make sure its copesthetic play it back one more time Are you out there somewhere Do you see the same stars I do It's cold outside and it's getting late So what am I waiting for See theres more to life you see im working on bettering myself all these possibilities i see I tell myself it wont ever be me But I kind of wish it was every time I listen in, I'm singing along. And what will be, will be I'm not worried, about whats around the corner I've got faith in you So for now I'm just focused On taking it day by day I must be crazy To think mabye you feel like I do. Trying not to waste my time away but waste it every day anyway I'm trying to go the distance Going to break out of my box Savor life like sweet wine So Itll all be alright, okay?
