life is just life that's what the elders say/ I haven't seen shit and I been sitting here all day/ something coming my way I sit hope and pray that one day it will be my way/ but hope ain't enough is what my big homie said I got meat wit no bread/ a gun filled with lead i wanna get ahead/ but I'm towing the street hoping my engine dont overheat/ wanna wash my pain away like jesus washed feet/ instead I blow it out in a sweet/ but it comes back I know that I'm all black/ 1st thing they do is attack then the statements retract! it took time now I'm off of my back that's that.
