Honestly i wish i can say the same But fuck man i guess the game changed We no longer take hard work as a name And now we don't even have to tell a story or explain Its quite the pain literally its quite mundane Grown Children causing these younger children to think untame Folks thinking hip hop and rap is just about profanity and bein lame Switchin lanes to find a true meanin behind this culture before i get drivin insane I missed the golden era where we talk the truth more powerful then bane And where everyone seemed more sane then kids randomly poppin Drugs and Drinkin, robo trippin on gin or lean We use to see keen now we don't cuz the seen becomes the unseen Fuckin and gettin high or drunk seems to be the solution over everythin Well thats what the newer generation is gettin at and its Agitatin Cuz my own family had Problems with alcoholic and druggie addictions leavin many scars and afflictions But now these idols are makin that seem okay jesus fuck man where the hell is this culture goin Nothin inspirational shit is showin only bad influences and ignorant grown children stripped of common knowledge Livin for a few years get famous, blow up and then they start rappin untrue shit they never lived I guess thats where facts and cash comes to divide the pure from evil from the beginning of time Where the necessitys are the materialistic ones only in it for the dimes And commitin crimes to think they're cool but only lookin for acceptance on the inside Well look alive these are false idols being idolized only a bunch of sheep i see findin new fuck ups to idolize Anyways you'll know where to find me if hip hop dies ill stay here till hell freezes over and when yall almost run outta lives but for now try to stay alive no more homicide or suicide just have a goodtime now goodbye
