Voices like thunder, but my heart felt the rain, Had to smile bright, while I swallowed the pain, Taught to be perfect, but I crumbled inside, Juggling their issues, I just wanted to hide. Lost in the chaos, a child lost his voice, Fighting for happiness, but I had no choice, Every tear shed, like a drop in the sea, Trying to please them, but it shattered me free. Now I’m a ghost in a world full of fakes, Haunted by memories of the love that it takes, Built up a fortress, but it’s crumbling slow, Wrestling shadows of a life I outgrow.
