“Angel At The Door” (Read Description)

This, is Kory. He Was My Oldest and Closest, Best Friend fuh he was my brother. He was the one person on this planet who literally knew everything about me. It went both ways like we could literally Finnish each others sentences on a twin level. He was there for me in every major moment good or bad growing up. We actually started and mastered guitar together. I picked it up easier because of the way I hear music. Then he pushed until he sur-passed me I pushed to surpass him and it went literally back to back, until we reach our goals to be the best guitarist’s alive. I turned down the scholarship my school offered because he wasn’t being offered it with me. When I was 23.. I Got the message on my PlayStation 4 that changed my life forever. Kory.. had Died in his sleep. Now I’ve experienced death at the age of 8 watching my father WWII Vet, slowly fall apart from cancer [*I was adopted] seeing his body on the stretcher I’ll never forget his lifeless body. But this one hurt in a way I don’t think there’s a word for. I know, a lyricist at a loss for words. feels like the start of a joke. But at the time I was abandoned by my adopted mother and I had reunited with my biological mother and was making up for lost time. you know?. But Nobody in my life at the time knew who Kory was. so I was falling apart destroying my amps and slamming my guitars on the ground completely shattering inside. They had no idea why I was taking the news the way I was they couldn’t fathom having a bond like that with somebody. So out of the blue one day, my stepfather says he’ll get me a plane ticket to the funeral and by the time the day came I went to for the ticket. He was like “oh you believed me?!. I just wanted you to stop crying”. I don’t even think the coldest thug would resort to that.. I didn’t think I could hurt anymore than I did.. but that.. Deleted, me, that was what locked me into this moment and I don’t think I’ve truly left 03/06/2022. I joined the military in hopes to move on. But i realized, there Is no place in this universe that I could go to escape this, kind of pain. Closure was stolen from me the day I missed his funeral. And All of the photos and videos of us were on a device I no longer have. Every good memory, every single moment we shared is in my brain only now and it feels like the weight of the world to be honored with being the only one with this memory of him. But now my spine is falling apart and I don’t know if it’s an act of God or a Sick joke of the Devil. But this is why I won’t stop Until the World knows how great of a Human being/Musician, Kory was. I know I said I had nobody at the time but I did. I had his mother on the phone with me every day we couldn’t say much just cried. And I know she’s still suffering as I am.
