PAID THE DIME
In the shadows, I was lost, but He paid the dime, From the depths of despair, now I’m ready to climb. Grace like a river, flowing free, no more grime, Every step that I take, I’m aligned with the divine. Chains breakin' off, feel the weight unwind, In the light of His love, I’m no longer blind. Heart once heavy, now it’s light, intertwined, With the spirit that lifts, yeah, it’s truly sublime. Faith in my veins, like a rhythm, it chimes, Every trial I face, it just sharpens my mind. With His truth as my armor, I’m ready to grind, In the book of my life, I’m the one He designed. Through the storms and the trials, I’ll never decline, With the Savior beside me, I’m destined to shine. Every moment I breathe, I’m embracing the climb, Jesus saved me for real, now I’m living my prime.
